Occupant(number of people in vehicle).

 

Dispatch: 10-4 proceed with traffic stop.
 

Walk up to civilian car
 

Officer: Hello sir, how are you doing today?
 

Civilian: Good.
 

Officer: Do you know why I pulled you over today?
 

Civilian: No.
 

Officer: Well, a little while back you ran a red light(tell them what they did).
 

Officer: Can I have your license and registration.
 

Civilian:  Here you go.

 

Walk back to your car

 

Officer: Unit __ to dispatch.
 

Dispatch: Go ahead Unit __.
 

Officer: The driver's gamertag that I am doing the 10-30 on is _________ and I pulled him over for 
running a red light. 
 

Dispatch: Let him off with a warning(or give him a ticket for $__).
 

Walk back to civilian car
 

Officer: I am going to let you off with a warning(or here is a ticket for $__).
 

Civilian: Ok.
 

Officer: Have a nice day.
 

Civilian drives away and officer goes back to car.
 

Officer: Unit __ to dispatch .
 

Dispatch: Go ahead unit __.
 

Officer: Show me 10-8.
 

Dispatch: 10-4.
 

IF ANY THE CIVILIAN RUNS AT ANY POINT DURING THE TRAFFIC STOP YOU MUST CALL INTO DISPATCH THAT THE SUSPECT IS FLEEING AND YOU ARE IN PURSUIT.
